The short answer
Virtual staging pricing in 2026 runs from $0.24 per image on a maxed-out AI subscription to $24 per image for a human editor. At a realistic agent volume of 160 staged photos a year (about 20 vacant listings), that is $69 on StageHQ credits, $228–$240 on the cheapest Collov AI, Virtual Staging AI, REimagineHome or Edensign plan, about $1,680 in Apply Design coins, and $3,840 at BoxBrownie. The subscriptions look close to StageHQ on paper; the difference is that their $228+ is a yearly commitment that bills whether you list or not, while credit packs only charge for images you actually generate.

Three columns, one question: what do you spend in a year? 160 images ≈ 20 vacant 8-photo listings; 600 and 1,800 match Edensign's Pro and Premium caps so annual totals are comparable. StageHQ figures are the cheapest real combination of packs (credits never expire); subscriptions are the cheapest tier whose 12-month allowance covers the column, at the yearly-billed price × 12.

Totals are the cheapest real combination that covers the column: one 250-pack for 160 images (90 credits left over for the next listing), 2 × 250 + 100 for 600, 7 × 250 + 100 for 1,800. No subscription, no annual commitment; credits wait for slow months.

Standard $19/mo for 60 credits (720/yr), Advanced $49/mo for 150 (1,800/yr), Premium $79/mo for 263, Enterprise $127/mo for 526 — all billed yearly; Standard is $21 billed monthly. The per-image rate only appears if you use the whole quota every month; 160 images a year on Standard is really $1.43 each. Free trial: 5 watermarked renders.

Live pricing cards show Essential $19/mo for 30 credits, Pro $36/mo for 200, Advanced $59/mo for 400, Agency $119/mo for 900 (the page's own metadata still quotes $14–$99). Starter $20/mo for 180 photos a year ($1.33 each), Pro $45/mo for 600 ($0.90), Premium $117/mo for 1,800 ($0.78); Enterprise is custom. The photo cap is annual rather than monthly, which suits lumpy volume better than most subscriptions — but plans are non-refundable and bill for the year.

Why credits beat subscriptions on lumpy volume
Real-estate pipeline is uneven: eight photos this week, nothing for three weeks, a burst when inventory turns. Subscriptions bill every month whether you stage or not; unused quota resets. Credit packs charge only for images you actually generate, and leftover credits wait.
